Recently, I took advantage of the NFB free cane offer. I find that the distinctive click made by tapping these canes while walking is a great pinger for echo location. Now, if only there were a folding cane with that aluminium NFB cane tip, I might switch to it full-time.
Ooo I'd love to try it. I know those long canes are a pain but to be honest, I've never tried using one so I'm open to the experience. Is the NFB still giving them away?
